Circle dated this reserve snapshot July 30. It is a weekly disclosure of cash and securities held against issued USDC, not a live feed of balances moving during the trading day.
The July 30 snapshot
The page groups reserves into bank deposits, overnight Treasury repurchase agreements and U.S. Treasuries maturing in under three months. That composition matters because USDC holders rely on Circle's ability to meet redemptions at par.
Reserves, issuance and redemptions
| Disclosure | What it covers | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Reserve composition | Assets disclosed against issued USDC | Weekly snapshot |
| Issuance and redemption | Gross mint and redeem activity through Circle | 7, 30 and 365-day windows |
| Third-party assurance | Accountant procedures for a specified reporting period | Monthly report |
Limits of the disclosure
Minting and redemption show activity through Circle's own system. They do not capture every exchange trade, onchain transfer or liquidity pool, and they do not establish why USDC moved at a particular moment.
The monthly assurance report is also a separate document. Its date and procedures must be read on their own; the weekly webpage does not turn into a continuous audit simply because both disclosures appear on the same site.
